Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and any purchase you make from FoodTech. By placing an order you accept these terms. Please read them before you buy.

1. Who we are

FoodTech sells professional catering and food-service equipment in Georgia. Our showrooms are at Tbilisi, Marshal Gelovani 54 & Batumi, Fridon Khalvashi 91e, Georgia. You can reach us on +995 558 15 30 60 (Tbilisi), +995 599 06 98 94 (Batumi), Monday–Saturday, 10:00–18:00 (Georgia time).

2. Products and descriptions

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Photographs are illustrative; finishes, fittings and control layouts may differ slightly between production batches. Technical specifications are supplied by the manufacturer and may be updated without notice. If an exact specification matters to your installation, please confirm it with us in writing before ordering.

3. Prices and VAT

Prices are shown in Georgian Lari. Unless a product page states otherwise, prices exclude VAT and exclude delivery and installation. We may change prices at any time, but a change will never affect an order we have already confirmed.

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order and its availability. If an item turns out to be unavailable or has been listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may decline the order and will refund any payment in full.

5. Payment

Payment methods available at checkout are shown during the ordering process. We do not store your full card details; card payments are handled by our payment provider.

6. Delivery

Delivery times quoted are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please inspect equipment on arrival and report any transport damage to us within 48 hours, with photographs, so we can pursue it with the carrier.

7. Returns and refunds

If you are buying as a consumer, you may withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, in line with Georgian consumer protection law. Returned items must be unused, complete and in their original packaging. Refunds are issued to the original payment method once we have received and checked the goods.

Equipment supplied to a business specification, built to order, or installed on site may be excluded from this right. Consumable and hygiene-sensitive items cannot be returned once opened.

8. Warranty

Equipment carries the manufacturer’s warranty stated on the product page or in the accompanying documentation. Warranty does not cover wear parts, damage from incorrect installation, unsuitable power or water supply, misuse, or servicing by unauthorised technicians.

9. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for lost profit, lost production or other indirect losses.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Georgia. Disputes we cannot resolve between us will be heard by the competent courts of Georgia.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
